'Pineal Gland'

The pineal gland is located deep in the center of the brain, also known as the 'third eye', and so it is believed to serve as a connection between the physical and spiritual realm. It relates to our sense of intuition, awareness, and clarity of thought.

The ribs and spinal cord are depicted in an illusive and infinite way, eventually blooming into the flower with green skies that fall behind. 

Trauma is most commonly stored within the region of the torso and so this piece reflects the steps taken to reach self awareness, reaching a state of calmness and serenity with the use of green, as well as love and compassion. 

Only once we reach enlightenment within can we see clearly and blossom into our true form.
